Fall is here and the art fairs are popping up in almost every corner of the city. Well, yes, we are exaggerating but it really feels like art is invading Paris. This weekend there are four major art fairs showing some of the finest art around the world. Hundreds of galleries and thousands of contemporary artists that will really satisfy the most demanding connaiseur.
The most important is FIAC, in the magnificent Grand Palais with art in the Tuilleries garden and Invalides too. Then you also have Art Elysées, between the Fiac and Place Concorde. But don’t miss Slick, in the area of Le Marais, or Cutlog –in the beautiful Bourse de Commerce near the Louvre Museum.
And remember, you don’t need to be a wealthy collector to buy art. There are a lot of inexpensive and beautiful things out there. Just follow your instinct!
