Bill Viola is without a doubt the most celebrated video art artist. From the amazing and unforgettable piece “The space between the teeth” from 1976 to his latest, dramatic and bigger than life installations, this American artist is a “must know, must see, must experience”. For the first time, the Grand Palais will present a wide-ranging group of his works, including moving paintings and monumental installations from 1975 to today.
Focusing on both intimate and universal experiences, Viola expresses his emotional and spiritual journey through great metaphysical themes – life, death and transfiguration… — his videos have the capacity to touch not only your brain but every single cell of your body.
The exhibition will be on until the 5th of March. For more information click HERE
